Due to the increased security demands of the new OS’s, droplets were forced to be removed. In general our droplets created an application using self modifying code. According to Apple, that is very definition of a virus. Even though benign and for the benefit of our users, the latest security measures of Mojave don’t allow us access to create and install them properly. As the Mac OS becomes more and more security-conscious, this, unfortunately, was a feature that had to be eliminated. We may be able to re-implement the feature in the future depending on Apple’s security direction for their developers.
