Smart Views are a versatile tool that can be used to display a certain subset of items in a single window in StoryMill. For instance, you can display all of your chapters that have of status of “first draft”, or all of your scenes that contain a certain character. To create a Smart View, just click on the gear icon at the bottom of the source list, Select Add Smart View, name your view, and start specifying the items you want to display in your Smart View. Once you’ve finished, your Smart View will appear in the Source List on the left pane of the StoryMill window.
