Paperless takes more than one attempt to select "Save PDF to Paperless" from any print dialog's PDF menu to get Paperless to properly import the receipt.
Creating a new PDF Services alias of Paperless should resolve the issue.

Go to
~/Library/PDF Services/ -
Trash the existing PDF Services aliases fro Paperless.

Open a new finder window.

Navigate to your applications folder.

Make an alias of Paperless (CMD-L) (you can also make aliases to specific libraries if you wish).

Place the alias of Paperless (or a library's Alias) into the
~/Library/PDF Services/folder.
For new users, Paperless creates this PDF Services item automatically. If you manually delete the item Paperless doesn't recreate it. It will re-create this item if it does not already exist and your preferences have been deleted.
