Yes, MacJournal 6 is a paid upgrade.
Licensed owners of MacJournal 4 and MacJournal 5 are eligible for upgrade pricing of $19.95. To purchase the upgrade, visit our eStore.
Choose MacJournal 6 upgrade from the MacJournal popup, add it to your cart, and proceed to checkout. You will be prompted for your existing MacJournal serial number. You can locate it by launching your existing copy of MacJournal 4 or 5, choosing About MacJournal from the MacJournal menu, and copying the serial number, which starts with "MJ".
Once you purchase the upgrade, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from Mariner containing your MacJournal 6 serial number, which you can use to register your copy of MacJournal 6 and take it out of "trial" mode.
It has been a long-standing policy at Mariner Software, that users who purchase a product less than 90 days prior to a major new release of that product, will automatically get the upgrade for free. So, if you purchased MacJournal 5 in the 90 days prior to MacJournal 6's release (on December 14, 2011), please send a copy of your original purchase receipt to firstname.lastname@example.org to see if you are eligible for a free upgrade to MacJournal 6.
