Is it OK if I keep both MacJournal 5 and MacJournal 6 on my computer?
We strongly recommend that when updating to MacJournal 6, that you remove any other copies of the MacJournal 5 application from your computer. You should only have one version of MacJournal on your computer.
MacJournal 5 and MacJournal 6 cannot read the same data files. When you first launch MacJournal 6, it will copy your MacJournal main document (and append the original file's filename with your previous version number) and "upgrade" it to the MacJournal 6 format.
If you need to revert to MacJournal 5 after updating to MacJournal 6, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for instructions.
